It all started with 5 mates and me, with 0 previous experience in the nightlife industry and a tiny budget of €2,000. But with a common passion for electronic music and a dream: to throw really memorable parties in Barcelona. Each event would be a chapter with its own identity, in which different concepts and emotional journeys would be explored through the music of the guest artists, the visuals and the narrative. And thus Swing Techno Club was born.

We only managed to bring together 450 people at our opening party, but a year later we were already selling out every single event, gathering more than 4,000 people at each party. We managed to bring some of the most recognized international artists on the underground electronic music scene, achieved our residency in one of the best clubs in Barcelona, and consolidated our brand as one of the benchmark nightlife parties in the capital, also expanding to outdoor events and parties in other emblematic clubs such as Pacha.

During my time at Swing, I took part in the initial conceptual design of the brand (which recently celebrated its 7th anniversary), as well as in the direction of photography, video and some designs for social media and advertising. I was also involved in the relations with guest artists and the writing of press releases for specialized media, among others.

In recent years, the brand has undergone some alterations in terms of visual identity, yet it has retained much of its essence in terms of brand concept and narrative.
